Welcome to the NEST Digital Library. The goal of our Digital Library is to preserve protestant heritage and to create an online library of all our Manuscripts, Rare Books & Archives. Our Digital Library has been developed as a resource for scholars & researchers specializing in history and religion, as well as for wider public use. our collections are intended to be dynamic. As such, we look forward to engaging with the community to help us consider new content to be added over time, which will be discussed on the blog.

Manuscripts : Currently have digital surrogates of more than 293 separate manuscript volumes in Arabic, Armenian, Syriac, Hebrew, Kurdish, Persian & Turkish languages. We mention Van Dyck Arabic translation of the Bible published in the late 1850s.

Rare Books : early editions of various publications on the Middle East History, Protestantism and missions. Many written by the American missionaries and from their private collections.

Archives : over 1,000 individual items of Protestant heritage, include American and British missionary and early Arab Protestant church records.


Through the efforts of our project team and advisory committee, the Digital Library has been developed as a resource for scholars & researchers specializing in history and religion, as well as for wider public use. All users must review and accept our terms and conditions.
